20TH Annual NOCSSM CONFERENCE - August 2026

Honoring Chuck Chadwick
Twenty years of faithful service to the Church. Founder of the Gatekeeper Program and the National Organization of Church Security & Safety Management.

Lifetime Achievement Recognition
A Lasting Legacy

The Godfather of Church Security

Long before “church security” was a recognized discipline, Chuck Chadwick saw the need. He understood that the house of God required prepared, trained, and spiritually grounded men and women who would stand in the gap.

Through the Gatekeeper Program and the founding of NOCSSM, Chuck established standards, training pathways, and a culture of servant-hearted protection that continue to shape churches across the nation. What began as a calling has become a movement.

For two decades he has mentored, trained, answered late-night phone calls, traveled when finances were tight, and modeled what it means to serve the local church with excellence and humility.

A Word of Tribute

From MinistrySafe

A short message recorded in honor of Chuck’s twenty years of service.

Thank you, CHuck

For seeing the need before most others. For building standards that endure. For mentoring a generation of Gatekeepers. And for doing it all with a servant’s heart.

“I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith.”

— 2 Timothy 4:7

FOUNDING SCRIPTURE:

1 Chronicles 9:21-24 Amplified Bible (AMP)

21 Zechariah son of Meshelemiah was gatekeeper at the entrance of the Tent of Meeting. 22 All those chosen to be gatekeepers at the thresholds were 212. They were enrolled by their genealogies in their villages [around Jerusalem], these men [whose grandfathers] David and Samuel the seer had appointed to their official duty. 23 So they and their sons were in charge of the gates of the house of the Lord, that is, the house of the tabernacle, as guards. 24 The gatekeepers were stationed on the four sides —on the east, west, north, and south.
