Christian, not “Faith Based” of “Houses of Worship”

We are NOT “Faith Based” or “Houses of Worship”;
We are “Christian”! Repeat Christian!

When you stand for everything, you stand for NOTHING!

I have been asked several time to participate in “Faith Based” or “Houses of Worship” initiatives, committees and meetings. The Federal government has even published a “Guide for Developing High Quality Emergency Operations Plans for Houses of Worship” and “Faith-based Security” guides. When I decline some may be puzzled by my lack of interest in these endeavors. One needs to realize these terms of “Houses of Worship” or “Faith Based” come from the world of political correctness. These are the terms that the Federal Government HAS TO use to include EVERYONE in the mix.
 
Here’s the question: Do you want to share your security practices and stand alongside of the other 4,199 religions. I, for one, will not. So when you hear “Faith Based” or “Houses of Worship” remember who you are pulling alongside of. Yes, we Americans have fought for religious freedom in our country, but that doesn’t mean we have to cozy up to them.

 2 Corinthians 6:14  Do not be yoked together with unbelievers. For what do righteousness and wickedness have in common? Or what fellowship can light have with darkness?

Here, for your reading enjoyment are some of what you embrace when you say “Faith Based” or “Houses of Worship”-

There are reportedly approximately 4,200 difference faiths or religions. Among them are Satanism, Hinduism, Islamism and even the Church of the Flying Spaghetti Monster (Pastafarianism). Yes, look it up.

#1 Scientology – Here is the story of Xenu, an alien ruler of the “Galactic Confederacy.” According to this story, 75 million years ago Xenu brought billions of people to Earth in spacecraft resembling Douglas DC-8 airliners, put them around volcanoes and detonated hydrogen bombs in the volcanoes. The thetans then clustered together, stuck to the bodies of the living, and continue to do this today.

#2. The Temple of Psychick Youth – TOPY is dedicated to magical concepts lacking mysticism or the worship of gods. The group focuses on the psychic and magical aspects of the human brain linked with “guiltless sexuality”.

#3. Church of All Worlds – The church’s mythology includes science fiction to this day. “Gaea,” is the Earth Mother Goddess and the Father God, are two high powers they trust in. Many of their ritual celebrations are centered on the gods and goddesses of ancient Greece. Zell-Ravenheart recently founded The Grey School of Wizardry inspired in part by Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, the school in the Harry Potter novels.

#4. Church of SubGenius – SubGenius claimed that on July 5, 1998: X-Day would happen. That meant that the Church had been predicting that on this day the world would be destroyed by invading alien armies known as the X-ists (which is short for “Men from Planet X”). When the event didn’t come to pass, the church administrator who predicted it was tarred and feathered – but allowed to continue on as administrator. The actor Paul Reubens who played Pee-wee Herman is a SubGenius minister.

#5. The Church of Euthanasia – The CoE  asserts four principal pillars: suicide, abortion, cannibalism, and sodomy. The CoE is notorious for its conflicts with Pro-life Christian activists. According to the church’s website, the one commandment is “Thou shalt not procreate”.

As for embracing the “Faith Based” concept so that we can rub elbows with all faiths and please EVERYBODY? As the Sharks say on TV; I’m OUT!
